Athena Smartcard Solutions Announces the Release of ASECard Memory SDK Version 2.0Advanced Memory Smart Card SDK now available to Smart Card applications developersTokyo, Japan. November 30, 2003 – Athena Smartcard Solutions, a leading manufacturer of smart card solutions, smart cards and smart card readers, today announced the release of ASECard Memory SDK 2.0. Continuing the tradition of the ASE DK used by more than 3000 developers worldwide, the PC/SC based ASECard Memory SDK, offers smart card developers a professional environment for development of smart card applications requiring the use of password protected and free access memory cards.The ASECard Memory SDK is a comprehensive yet easy to use platform for all levels of developers. Development is facilitated through the use of the ASECard Memory Editor, a GUI tool that enables all card operations, including password management. In addition, the CD provided includes the full API, documentation, and sample code. The ASECard Memory SDK package includes five ASECard MP42 password protected cards and five ASECard M64 free access 8Kbyte memory cards, CD with API, documentation, samples, and two ASEDrive III smart card readers.
