Enabling cross platform multi-factor authentication
Athena Windows Logon offers you the flexibility to deploy multi-factor authentication solutions within mixed network topologies — including Microsoft Windows, LINUX and Apple Mac OSX on both 32bit and 64bit systems. For Windows systems IDProtect Client can be installed as either a Cryptographic Service Provider (CSP) or Minidriver and is available in contact, contactless, dual interface or USB form factors.
Standards Focused
Athena Windows Logon provides Microsoft CAPI/CAPI 2/CNG and PKCS#11 interfaces to ensure organisations can interact with the broadest range of hardware and software, such as Microsoft Outlook, Adobe, Checkpoint, Cisco, Citrix, Lotus Notes, Novell, PGP to name but a few.
The credentials are certified to industry standards, such as IP58, IP68, FIPS and Common Criteria, to ensure they meet the most stringent security and integrity requirements.
Biometric Match-on-Card
Through an optional extension Athena Windows Logon can further strengthen Windows Logon authentication by using the latest biometric Match on Card algorithms. A user’s biometric details are securely stored on card at issuance and used to verify the identity of the user at logon. Full biometric support is available on both 32bit and 64bit machines.
