Identity, Authentication and Signature (IAS) Services
Athena IDProtect SSCD provides issuers with a flexible yet interoperable smart card platform for national e-ID projects that combine e-services and e-identity, such as national identity, health, driving licenses and service entitlement cards.
Through its implementation of Gixel’s IAS ECC 1.0.1 specification IDProtect SSCD offers issuers an application framework supporting:
- CEN-TS 15480
- prEN 14890-1:2006 and 14890-2:2006
- ISO 7816 series (including ISO 7816-15)
- ISO 14443 series (silicon dependent)
- ICAO EAC v1.1.1 for national e-ID
- ICAO Machine Readable Travel Documents — Doc 9303
Interoperable IAS Solutions
IDProtect SCCD implementation of industry specifications, such as CEN-TS 15480, ISO 7816-15 and EAC v1.1.1, allows issuers to use industry developed IAS profiles or develop their own whilst safeguarding the interoperability of the final solution.
GIXEL Partnership
Through its partnership in GIXEL, the Industry organization responsible for the IAS-ECC specifications, Athena achieves conformance and interoperability with the complete IAS-ECC ecosystem.
Match on Card Biometric support
Through IDProtect SSCD’s optional biometric match-on-card libraries issuers can further enhanced the security of their solutions.
Multi-application Support
Take advantage of IDProtect SSCD’s multi-application architecture by securely loading applications pre– or post-issuance using widely available GlobalPlatform load tools.
